THE FOOD? UNBELIEVABLE!
 At
Horwood Lake Lodge, we're passionate about our tradition of
great food and just ask any of our guests to tell you ----
the food is unbelievable both in presentation and in flavour.
We are not too shy to tell you we've produced 3 cookbooks
and we're working on a fourth, so we
 have
always been involved in what we can do to create a fantastic
meal.
We delight in amazing our guests
with 5 star dining experience with a view overlooking
beautiful Horwood Lake. We strive to pamper each of you with
the feeling of having your very own personal chef for the
week. Whether it's a sunrise quick cup of fresh brewed
coffee & pastries & homemade muffins to get you started on a
great day at 6 or whet her
it's a fully cooked to order breakfast of Canadian bacon,
homefries eggs any style & thick crusty toast & jams &
jellies from 7:30 till 8:30 a.m. we're there for you.
Lunches are ordered the night before
to ensure you get exactly what you want and are prepared
while you enjoy your breakfast that morning & delivered to
your table. They range from a variety of homemade breads &
buns & wraps with fresh quality meats & fresh fruits &
cookies & jellos & puddings to even providing shore lunch
kits where you can cook up your own fresh fish & all the
trimmings.
Speaking of salads we are pleased to
offer a fantastic salad bar filled with build your own
options, fresh breads & buns, cheeses & extras & of course
our fantastic homemade soups to get you started. Then we
dazzle you with our presentation meal of the day choice
 served
at 5 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Don't be shy bring a camera -
lots of people do, because we outdo ourselves for you. Oh
what about the fish you caught…n o problem, we'd be happy to
do a hook & cook presentation plate up for your table.
Desserts….well get ready for a throw out the diet portion of
your vacation….some are almost too pretty to eat but go
ahead…indulge…you deserve it. Guests enjoy our
all day dessert table as fresh from the oven cookies and
goodies are set out all day long.
For our groups we offer special event
catering….perhaps your group would like us to do a special
night celebration of an event…no problem we'd be happy to
help you celebrate.
So don't be shy let us know if
someone is having a birthday, anniversary, graduation etc.
What about my special dietary needs?
No problem…tell us what you want prior to arrival and we'll
create just for you.
