What's your success rate ? |
Previous owners of the lodge averaged a success rate of 80% annually. With our new GM, Gary, who is extremely experienced in developing Bear Management Area into very successful hunts, we're sure our success rate will increase ! |

What's your average sized Bear ? |
Average Northern Ontario Black Bear size it approximately 225 lbs. |

How many hunters do you have in camp each week ? |
From 4 - 6 Hunters For a 4 week season |

What's the best hunt week ? |
Every week of our 4 week season is equal in success ratings. |

Should I bring my own tree stand ? |
No Need. We have large, wooden constructed stationary tree stands at each bait location. Very safe and roomy. |

How far is my shot distance ? |
From 15 - 25 yards at each bait location. |

Can I hunt with my Bow and my rifle ? |
Yes - you can take both to your stand. |

How high up are the stands ? |
Your stand's platform is at approximately 16' - with your eyes at 20'. |

Will I have to bait my own stands ? |
No - you enjoy ... we do the work ! |

Do we drive to our stands daily ? |
Yes ... hunters will follow their Guide, and drive to their stands. Travelling to the stands will be on rough logging roads and brushy trails. Some stands are ATV accessible ONLY. |

Can I bring a non hunting companion to film my hunt ? |
Yes, non hunting companion rates are listed on the web page. (Filming of your hunt is not recommended however, due to a very low success rate.) |

What can I do after I shoot my bear ? |
You have one of our great boat / motor packages included in your hunt ... so fishing, ATV trail riding and enjoying your vacation are recommended ! |
