Cow Moose Hunt Gun Package Information

With your 2 person hunt package, you will receive 1 Cow Moose Tag and 1 Calf Moose Tag

The adult moose can weigh up to 1000 lbs, making this a very exciting archery hunt !

Up close and personal is a heart pumping experience you will receive

while hunting these magnificent animals !

Following our instructions will help make this an exciting and successful Fall hunt.

We begin scouting mid summer, always following the moose in their routines.

With the information we gather, we choose and suggest the best locations to increase your success.

Our season begins the 8th of October, just after the rut, in our location within WMU 31.

With the rut still lingering, Bulls can be called to the hunter's location, and usually have at least

1 cow with them, with a good number of cows having calves with them also.

Large mature Bulls may have multiple cows with him.

Because of the amount of meat that comes from one of these animals, most people

choose to hunt in a group. Hunting in a group will also increase your chances of success.

For this reason, we have included very reasonably extra hunter prices which will bring

the cost of your group's total to a very reasonable rate.

RATES  

A 50% deposit is required upon booking with balance due July 1.

Season:  Oct. 8 - Nov. 15, 2011

THIS IS A 2 HUNTER PACKAGE _- PRICE IS FOR 2 HUNTERS !

Extra non resident hunters will be issued a calf moose tag.

When hunting in a party, any member of the party may shoot the adult moose.

* Non Resident Hunters must bring and surrender an old hunting license

from their home state in order to get an Ontario hunting license

* You must also be covered 65% by blaze orange hunting clothing
