Lures / Bait & Techniques:

Spring:
Trolling: - medium running large minnow baits for spring (8 – 25 feet) - large flashy spoons and lures
Casting: - cast large spoons and minnow baits at the first drop off and humps near spring spawning areas. - casting large, noisy surface baits around submerged structure and weed beds.
Jigging: - 10 - 20 feet with large live bait - - same depths with Gulp minnows & leeches |
Summer:
Trolling: -deep running large minnow baits (10 – 30 feet) - bucktails, large inline spinners and large spoons.
Casting: - cast large minnow baits, bucktails and spoons to deep ledges and weed bed edges.
Jigging: - 10 - 50 feet with large live bait - - same depths with Gulp - flashing jigging spoons

* For ATV Adventure Trips to remote back lakes, we recommend that you bring
as little gear as possible on the trip.
A small tackle box and 2 rods & reels that break down are ideal.
Rod hard cases are great protection for travelling to and from the fishing areas.
All remote lakes are strictly catch and release.
