1 Medium action rod and reel for trolling
1 Medium to Light action rod for casting & jigging

Spring:
Trolling: - medium running minnow baits (10 – 20 feet) - worm harness with live bait
Casting: - cast minnow baits to rock piles and humps near feeder creeks and rivers
Jigging: - 10 - 20 feet with live bait - minnows, worms or leeches - same depths with Gulp minnows & leeches - light coloured jig heads and 4” twister tails. |
Lures / Bait & Techniques:
Summer:
Trolling: - deep running minnow baits (20 – 40 feet) - worm harness with live bait
Casting: - cast minnow baits to rock piles and humps near feeder creeks and rivers - slow return
Jigging: - 20 - 50 feet with live bait - minnows, worms or leeches - same depths with Gulp minnows & leeches - light coloured jig heads and 4” twister tail |
Fall:

* For ATV Adventure Trips to remote back lakes, we recommend that you bring
as little gear as possible on the trip.
A small tackle box and 2 rods & reels that break down are ideal.
Rod hard cases are great protection for travelling to and from the fishing areas.
All remote lakes are strictly catch and release.
